There no better combination than great design, environmental sustainability and luxury, and it's particularly refreshing when you realize that they're not mutually exclusive. I originally heard about Olle Lundberg in an amazing article in the NYTimes by Raul Barreneche in 2005 called The Scavenger's Guide to the Galaxy and blogged it here.

Lundberg is a remarkable architect/designer. He's designed great desk legs for Ikea that we use in our office ( Vika), homes for the top of the line silicon valley elite and he lives on a boat in San Francisco harbor. But he's first and foremost someone who understands the value of not messing too much with nature. His cabin up in Cazadero, California is something to die for and you should take a look.

I've assembled all the best links I could find right here. Off you go! Enjoy!
