You're Invited: The 5th AT Walks The Island!

The weather's looking v-e-r-y good.

Here's something uplifting for Friday, and I'm sorry if you don't live in New York, but that really shouldn't stop you. When Sara and I started doing this, we did it with only two friends. Now there might be over two dozen.

This Sunday, November 2nd, we're walking the entire island of Manhattan and inviting you to join us.

It's marathon Sunday, two days before the biggest election in a generation. Don't you want to see your whole city?

Each year that we've done this it is unforgettable, healthy and community building. This year is even bigger and we're inviting you all to join in and bring your friends.

We start at 220th Street at @ 9am, right by the Broadway Bridge and just a few blocks up from the 215th stop of the 1 (red) line subway. If you want to meet downtown, we start at 8am at Christopher street station and ride up with our coffee. You are welcome to join us at either point.

After that we will be walking down the avenue until we get to the end at the Battery. We'll be stopping and photographing our progress (every 10 to 20 blocks) if you want to meet up in the middle, and lunch is usually around halfway: Zabars at 80th.

If you want to find us it's not super easy, so we urge you to get up early and come join us at the start. We don't wear crazy clothing or anything like that but we are reachable by phone. Call us on the day:
