Last night, I was casting about for a great, classic design product to write about, when I ran across these pictures of toolboxes taken on our trip to Minneapolis last month.

We were visiting Russell + Hazel founder, Chris Plantan, in her offices, and couldn't help notice all the ways in which she was using them to store her much more fragile office supplies. These are great design items that really should be used for many more things - besides tools.

Taking this further, I've put together a short list of good toolbox resources, focusing only on steel boxes with drawers. Imagine the DIY heaven you could be in with some of these:
